We have been researching artillery and cannon material for over 50 years and have been selling artillery and cannon related drawings since 1971.  Most of our drawings are copies of original US Ordnance Department or US Navy drawings.  These have been enlarged and/or retouched to make the drawings readable and are presented in an 11" x 17" book format.  Most are very detailed right down to the thread dimensions on the bolts.  In a few cases, it has been necessary to draw up the details when original drawings could not be located.  A few publications such as No's 67 and 68 are research paskets.  A research packet contains all of the information that we have been able to locate on that piece of ordnance or carriage, and consists of text, sketches, drawings and photographs.  There is more than enough information for a person knowledgeable in cannon or srtillery to construct a full size cannon or a model.

A word about postage.  We have been doing this since 1971.  Over this period, we have tried several shipping methods and US Postal Classifications. US Postal Priority Mail has worked the best.  Even with this we lose shipments and must replace about 4% each year.  Our books are done on heavy 60# offset grade paper.  Our covers are 10 mill heavy stock.  Our mailers are a very heavy cardboard stock.  US Postal rates are based on size and weight.
